
Benjamin Fieschi-Rose

Benjamin Fieschi-Rose is an award-winning director, puppet designer, animator and visual artist. Ben's work has screened on platforms like CBC Television and CBC Gem, and at festivals including the Ottawa International Animation Festival, Stop-Motion Montréal and Cinéfest Sudbury. Ben has worked as an art director on productions for Focus Features, Taqqut Productions, Stop-Motion Department, and as a lead set dresser and props fabricator for Gazelle Automations. Ben has a BFA in Film Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) where he won the “Norman Jewison Filmmaker Award”.

Ben grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, and spent much of his life exploring the ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest. This inspired a deep fascination with the natural world which finds its way into much of his creative work. He is currently based in Toronto, Ontario.
